I have planned and executed special events for more than 15 years. I began my career in 2003, while in Graduate School at UNC Charlotte executing events for Women’s Programs. My passion for event management lead me to devote the next 9 years planning and selling corporate events in Charlotte, NC before stepping out on my own in 2012. Opening Collabor8 Event Group was a lifelong dream and enables me to direct my passion for perfection into everything I do from event design to logistics. I have developed relationships with the best event professionals in the industry because I understand the value of partnership. We are only as good as our team and I believe we have the best team around.
Our dedication and hard work have led to a high retention level with our clients and we are honored to call a majority of them our friends! Collabor8 Event Group produces on average 40 corporate, social and nonprofit events from conception to onsite execution per year
The name Collabor8 was chosen because it means working together to achieve a goal. We believe producing successful events is a team effort and requires partnership. When teams work collaboratively they can obtain greater resources, recognition and reward.
The number 8 represents drive, ambition, efficiency, organization, management, discipline and balance. We couldn’t have explained who we are any better so it was clear we had to incorporate the number 8 in our name.
